Well, we're back from out summer hiatus and poised at the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year.  This will be a busy inaugural year as we are going to be raising money through fundraisers, membership drives and donations.  Look for us at local football games, NISH reunions and other venues.  The funds will be used to award scholarship monies in May 2006 to deserving graduates from our beloved alma mater.  Please help us by donating cash or your time.

OUR MISSION:

The NISH Alumni Association was organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to support educational excellence through scholarships. To this end, the corporation shall at all times be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.

MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the New Iberia Senior High Alumni Association is to foster goodwill amongst all alumni, to promote the achievements and accomnplishments of all alumni and the school, to foster a positive community image of the school and its graduates, and to support educational excellence by providing financial support in the form of scholarships to graduates.
